ADDICTION

If we want to free, we must let go of what is holding us back.
When all has crumbled and the world looks bleak, it is time to change and create a new life.
We conserve resources by planning a path that supports our change. Continual challenges erode our strength and lead to failure.
We must compassionately care for the addicted. We can't know all the underlying causes; but many lie beyond their control.
We can love a person with addictions without being an enabler. The line is difficult and outside judgments harsh. So we do what we can.
When we leave habits behind, a sorrow clouds our perspective. We feel the hole of something major in our lives missing.
