Knowledge (Wisdom)

In our on-going battle to feel good, sometimes we adapt by holding to faulty beliefs. When invested in a belief, the truth hurts.
Internal Link. Self: Here I am. The consciousness of self is complex. We are dynamic beings interacting with ever-changing environments. For stability, we need a concept of self. Too firm a concept and we are limited and deceived, to weak and we have no anchor.
FLS internal Link. Doubt, Search, Find: The vulnerable state of doubt leads to a curious search for more. We often neglect learning in exchange for secure and misguided dogma.
Our explorations of life in general, and individually, is never complete. There is always more to learn. When fully engaged in discovering the greatness, we open our hearts to others.
Learning comes from more than pages in a book. Living knowledge must be experienced, converting words into actions.
We gain intimate knowledge of ourselves through mindful examinations tempered with compassion.
FLS link. The Power of Context: The surrounding context influences our conceptual understanding. Judgments of others often ignores the context.
Five life changing discoveries I stumbled upon during a long search for flourishing.
Truth is elusive. What is proven today may be challenged tomorrow. We need a different approach that allows for confidence in action without a closed mind to possible alternatives.

The self is more complex than any grouping of words can define. We must discover the self through a more appropriate method.
Picture link: We must fight bias through continual search for knowledge, not limited to restricted networks supporting our beliefs; but open mindedness to a variety of sources.
We have constant opportunities to learn. Sometimes information that isn't pleasantly presented still provides insightful instruction. We must soften the ego and listen.
The universe is immense and knowledge abound. We can never understand everything. Our perspective limits our views. We must open to the knowledge of others to escape our subjective prisons.

The age of social media and mass data has simplified our lives, removing the need to think. We are provided a serving of daily news catered to our desires.
We are the victims of our own lazy minds, allowing campaigns of senseless propaganda to determine what we read and how to think.
Discovering ourselves is a lifetime process, requiring purposely digging a little deeper, and challenging comforting beliefs. Self-enlightenment can fuel heroic changes in our course of development.
Books, conferences and education are wonderful; but deeper wisdom comes from grander sources.
We gain knowledge by wandering in uncertainty. Firm convictions of rightness blind us to the wealth of information available, narrowing our wisdom, blinding our vision.
Science cannot answer all the details of life, much remains undiscovered beyond the grasp of laboratories and imaging machines. This is the undefined center of life.
We exist in a universe of unknowns. Life is too complex; wisdom is found in knowing our limitations.
